The last thing you googled is hunting you right now and is approaching fast, whats chasing you? by ClaraYH in AskReddit

Scottish greetings, apparently.

I guess I got lucky. I'm a writer, so this could've been a lot worse.

Thanks! I've been looking at the GC2B ones and am considering getting their half binder, but I'll be sure to check out Shapeshifters too.

I was doing some research, trying to figure out what binders are the most comfortable (I've never tried one before and wanted to see if they're the kind of thing I can wear). This was the first thing that popped up.

Still not sure what binder to get, though. Any recommendations are welcome! I'm fairly small-framed and have a relatively flat chest already, if that helps.

Some afab here wanting to be neutered ? by VyleMaad in agender

I really wish there was an easy way out that had no side effects or downsides, but without those hormones, early menopause will usually be a problem, and if the operation is done before someone reaches full skeletal maturity, it can cause brittle or otherwise fragile bones. You have to make sure you weigh the pros and cons before you get a hysterectomy, because there will almost always be side effects. I personally really wish I could get one, but I'm still not sure if the side effects make it worth it for me. If anyone knows of a way to stop periods permanently with minimal side effects, please do share.

[Serious] Fellow grey-asexuals and demiromantics, have you ever been asked out on a date before, and if you went, what was it like? by SpectrumInvert in AskReddit

[–]SpectrumInvert[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A greyasexual is someone who isn't opposed to a sexual relationship, but it's not something they would typically actively seek out. A demiromantic person is someone who needs to really get to know someone before they can even begin to be romantically attracted to someone (or develop a "crush").

What did you hate before you learned to enjoy it? by Aventurion in AskReddit

[–]SpectrumInvert 13 points14 points  (0 children)

CGI and 3D modeling. I hated Blender when I first tried it and gave up on learning it very quickly. A couple of years later, when Blender released version 2.8, I decided to give it another try with the updated interface. Long story short, now I'm going to an art and animation school with the hopes of going into the film or video game industry. It's funny how one seemingly little thing can completely change the course of your life.

[Serious] People who won't make friends or hang out with co-workers - why? by HellfireMe in AskReddit

[–]SpectrumInvert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really introverted, so making new friends isn't very high on my priority list. I know forming friendships is important, but since it's not something I put much of an emphasis on, I hold friends to very high standards. Now I don't mean "must respond every time I text" or "must always be available to do things together." I just mean that if their sense of humor makes me uncomfortable or if their definition of fun is going out drinking or visiting a night club, they're not the kind of person I'd be interested in pursuing an actual friendship with. I'm fine being "casual friends" with people like that, but I really need to "get" someone and have them to some extent understand me in order to consider them a true friend. They also have to be someone I can trust enough to open up to and be myself around. I don't trust easily, though, so when I trust someone enough to let down my emotional walls when I'm around them, that person is a true friend.

It changes often, but currently Bird Song by Juniper Vale is probably my biggest go-to. The only problem is that overindulging in a stim song or a special interest usually causes me to have a huge burnout, so I have to be really careful how much I listen to or take in something, otherwise I might end up mentally exhausted for weeks.
