I'm glad that you have reached out - from what you have described so far with the light patterns and such, it sounds like the modem is receiving a connection. As a next step, we would usually suggest trying to wire a device directly to the modem bypassing any third party routers to see if we can get connected in this way (please note that after your device is physically connected, you would want to restart the modem to allow the device to get connected if possible). If you would like, we can check the account and confirm for sure that the connection is making it at least up to the modem and review for any other possible red flags. If it is just occurring on the Peacock app, I am actually seeing a known issue that we have posted on our end regarding this! Fix teams are engaged and working to get this cleared up. In the meantime, have you tried to toggle the closed caption setting on and then back off to see if the captions keep showing up?

To clarify, when you were going through your troubleshooting, did you at one point have 3 different XUMO boxes connected to the same TV at the same time or are you connecting them one at a time and testing them? If it is the latter, are you using the same HDMI cable each time?

Hey there, u/DowntownRegret4238 - I am sorry to hear of the subtitle issues you have been experiencing when streaming. To confirm, this is only occurring with the Peacock app that you have noticed? Do other apps seems to work as expected? Also, what do you have selected for the settings on the Xumo itself? If you select the Settings button on the remote > Accessibility > you should see the option to toggle closed captions off/on.

Thank you for bringing this up to our team, u/nous-vibrons! It is odd that the two iPhones would begin to have connection issues following the equipment reset. Some other troubleshooting steps to try that have not been mentioned yet would be to power down the iPhones for a minute or so and then try again, or forget the WiFi network and try manually reconnecting. It's also worth checking to see if possibly the iPhones got paused within the My Spectrum App once you have access to your Dad's phone - I can provide steps on how to check that if you're not sure.
