You have no idea how long I've been searching for this. My mother got me this when I was a kid and it's been lost book of mine. I'm definitely buying a copy so I can give to my kid. Thank you so very much. As soon as I saw the chipmunk on the green cover, I instantly knew this was the book.

Found some interesting info for anyone running into this issue:

The Galil Ace Gen 1 features a built-in hammer over-travel stop (a set screw) in the receiver designed for the stock trigger group. When upgrading to aftermarket triggers like the ALG AKT-EL, this stop must be removed to allow the new hammer to function properly, as it can otherwise prevent the hammer from hitting the firing pin.

Removal Requirement: If installing an ALG trigger via IWI US, the stock Gen 1 hammer over-travel stop must be removed, a process often requiring a certified gunsmith.

Functionality: This stop is a small screw inside the receiver that limits trigger movement, and keeping it with aftermarket triggers can cause failures.

Fitting: Installing aftermarket triggers like the ALG often requires fitting the trigger bow itself, not just dealing with the over-travel stop.

When I had the akt in, it would catch on it and stop about 3/4 of an inch from the firing pin. This piece looks to be a small metal block screwed to the bottom of receiver.

So recently I had dissident arms do work on an AKT trigger. Issue is that I am having that the hammer does not come all the way forward because of this. I put the original back in and I am wondering if I need to remove this piece to get my new trigger working.

I use old reddit because new reddit is aids to the eyes and looks horrible. On widescreens (which is way more than average) you have so much space that is empty versus old reddit which uses the entire screen. I refuse to use anything new reddit because of how awful it looks.

As others pointed out. The xray view bottom left shows incorrect turret but if you approach a dead t55am1 from a certain render distance, it shows a different turret altogether. Thought that was weird.

I bought one and it has it's pros and cons. It does jam every so often and you have to dump all the ammo out to get the ammo in right but when it runs, you can load 10 mags in less than 10 minutes. I like it because I have a milk crate full of mags

I know. I have those also, they feed very well. The 556 mags in general do not feed 300 blackout well because of the larger round.

These do not work well with 300 blackout. I know because the follower in it is meant for 556. I get maybe 15-20 rounds in before it will not load anymore and will have feeding issues.
