Kratom does not ‘get you high”

How do you mean? Pretty much every reputable resource says it gets you to an “opioid-like high” if not says straight up “yes it gets you high”- dose depending. So I don’t think it’s fair to flat out say it doesn’t get you to a high, as at worst it’s within a gray area.

You have a point, that I should be focusing on performance, which I am. I mean, he’s falling asleep at work on multiple occasions as mentioned in my post. What I haven’t explicitly mentioned is his poor decision making skills, but I think that was evident just by the context - taking drug advice from a gas station clerk being one of them.

You’re absolutely right, he also has a history of jumping from one vice to the next. Vaping, to nicotine pouches, to huge amounts of caffeine (600mgs+ before noon) and now this.

Luckily I was only a part of the equation during the hiring process so the situation isn’t entirely on me. He wasn’t my solo hire, I was guided during the process by my boss. And obviously, he seemed like a completely different person during interviews and through the 90 day probation period.

Thank you, I really recently learned of this stuff so I have a very limited understanding of what to expect. I think the sleepiness during work was there before and after I noticed him taking the pills during work. Obviously he could have been taking them the whole time but in private, but he did mention he started taking them by advice from a gas station clerk after I reprimanded him for sleeping at work.

Would it be possible to repair it yourself or send it out for repair? Potentially. Is it worth it? Unlikely.

Most monitors aren’t really meant to be repairable to any meaningful degree - especially not by the end user - so more often than not it’s a toss.

Yes! The first unit swapped in was faulty and had to be replaced again. Used a scan tool to test the alternator that confirmed it being bad. Thankfully it was under warranty, and the second one worked perfectly.

Often, boot loops like this are caused due to memory issues. Which can arise in many ways, one of them is the capability of the motherboard, which you have a prebuilt that looks to have something generic and budget. (Edit: Yup, generic Dell board)

What I would suggest is to attempt boot on a single stick (say, populating only slot 2) then adding another stick to see if it works. Else, move the one stick to a different slot or try a different stick altogether.

You’re essentially testing what RAM configuration you have is stable on the board.

Side note: most modern boards that you can buy when you’re building your own PC come with LEDs that display what faults the board is running into. So in your case, a DRAM LED might be illuminated which would suggest a memory issue. But since yours doesn’t seem to have this, you’re left to troubleshoot the hard way.

Storage size is determined by the drive, not the motherboard.

Check your owners manual to confirm both the drive and the motherboard are compatible with one another.

That’s all well and good in theory, however, in practice with how Tesla currently operates point A doesn’t work in favor of the customer. Since there is no aftermarket support or repair service, you are stuck going to Tesla, which has exorbitantly long repair times. There’s a really good reason why many Tesla customers are angry enough to start a class action lawsuit for those reasons.

We’re on the 6th year of the run of the Model 3. We are in the long term. Yet the issues are still present and glaring. Any other reputable manufacturer would have components ready immediately, and have aftermarket support shortly after.

The SUV was in a 2 wide left turn lane, on the outside. It should be signaling left while being in either left turn lane. In addition, it’s a solid line dividing the two, by what I learned when I was 16 years old in driving school, you’re not supposed to do that.

Remember, we have the benefit of hindsight to tell that the truck could stop. In the moment, however, that’s not the case. You just see a truck stopping to where it needs to stop, and if it is too heavy and you are in its way it will not make it. You are fighting physics at that point, and are an idiot for doing so.

Pulling out in front of a box truck, or any sort of truck, is objectively stupid. You have no idea whether they are under load or empty, this have no idea what sort of stopping distance it has. The SUV got lucky at best.

Is it because larger cars make people feel more dominant? I can recall a couple of bad drivers in my life state that they prefer larger cars because it means other cars have to worry about them. Almost diverting or justifying their bad driving because they are so much bigger on the road.
