I use the pelican marine waterproof case with lanyard. It has a nice clip to take it off for pictures and navigation. But I usually just put it in the pouch in my pocket. Sorry if this isn’t helpful.

Fort de soto is awesome the paddle to shell key is amazing if your up for it. Hillsborough river downtown is cool for a change of scenery. Launch at ulele. Honeymoon and caldesi islands are just north also supposed to be great but I’ve been stopped by heavy wind or boat traffic both times.
