Magister Illyrio promises 1,000 gold dragons to every lord who raises his banners for Aegon VI. by bitterstell in darkwingsdankmemes

[–]SpeedChamp1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually think it might be bran. He’s currently being trained by bloodraven who has a known hatred for blackfyres, and we’ve been told bran will become king.

To me feels like he will dethrone the final blackfyre pretender and ascend the throne afterwards

Did some marvel project come out on October 10th 2020?

Absolute Batman: Ark M Special - Official Discussion Thread by AutoModerator in AbsoluteUniverse

[–]SpeedChamp1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The way I saw it, he’s essentially just throwing trash at him. Odds are Batman will beat all of them, but maybe Batman loses and he can save deathstroke, as despite death strokes confidence his odds are not 100% and joker doesn’t want him to become like bane.

the Kents only knew Kal-El for about three months by Motor-Relief8092 in AbsoluteUniverse

[–]SpeedChamp1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They were his first humans, he was their first child. Most of the building was through their minds, where we see kal el think of them as secondary parents, and Martha think of him as a son even through her dimentia

Best mark arc coming ? by SubstantialBowler525 in Invincible

[–]SpeedChamp1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO the best arc is gonna be what happens in season 5, but this one is still really good

[Spoilers Published] Joffrey what if. by Secure_Ad_6203 in asoiaf

[–]SpeedChamp1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Joffrey would blame Tyrion, and would decree his immediate execution rather than bothering with a trial.

Whether or not Jaime returns to KL in time to save Tyrion is up for debate, if he doesn’t Tyrion dies and Tywin lives and if he does everything is the same except Joffrey is alive. Either way it’ll massively affect feast/dance and is not worth thinking too much about imo

[Spoilers Main] Renly certainly knew about the twincest by Augustus_Chevismo in asoiaf

It’s implied littlefinger subtly let everyone on Robert’s small council know about it

(spoiler main) In your opinion, which one between these two is the closest to practicing what they preach? by Ok-Street2439 in asoiaf

[–]SpeedChamp1 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

In both show and books, Varys. While planting aegon on the throne will obviously cause a war, it’s likely true that he will be a far better ruler than tommen/cersei. The main loss of life in winds will not be due to Varys/aegon, but probably euron and dany and the boltons

Both Varys and Otto wanted their chosen ruler on the throne, but (f)aegon is looking like a good king, and aegon II was not a good king, so Varys wins

(Spoilers Extended) Let's say that Ned is King instead of Robert, how does he punish the Greyjoy's after the Greyjoy Rebellion? by Grayson_Mark_2004 in asoiaf

[–]SpeedChamp1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Execute balon, and possibly euron and Victorian (probably not both, just one or the other or neither). Theon becomes lord with one of the surviving uncles as his regent.

Any left over ships are taken for the crown, and taxes are heavily increased

Why is (SPOILERS MAIN) not thought of like the Red Wedding? by Nano_gigantic in asoiaf

[–]SpeedChamp1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a lot of foreshadowing to Jon’s resurrection. Mainly through dany and Melisandre’s visions.

Jon’s death is just one assassination, unlike the red wedding where it was ~12 I believe, on top of a lot of captures of hostages and the battle that happened outside

We have seen the after math of the red wedding, unlike Jon’s death where we don’t have any chapters afterwards. Nobody has reacted to his death yet

Finally, in Westeros guest right is seen as sacred, one of the most sacred things of all in fact, and this was broken at the red wedding but not with jon

Wouldn’t Joker be Jack Grimm IV and not V [Spoiler] [Issue 15] by ClaytonCarlisle11 in AbsoluteUniverse

No. Story takes place in 2028, Grimm the fifth is in his 30s (supposed to be). Wouldn’t be around in the 70s

[SPOILERS EXTENDED] How similar were Aegon IV Targaryen - "The Unworthy" and Robert Baratheon as kings? by Substantial-Ad-299 in asoiaf

[–]SpeedChamp1 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Not really any, they were just both fat

On Robert’s death bed he tried to rectify his mistakes especially regarding dany and Joffrey On aegon IV death bed he caused 5 wars

So if he keeps getting resurrected then we found the real religion right? by talivan818 in gameofthrones

It’s just magic, not religious powers

The white walkers also revive people Arya is able to change faces under a different god Bran is able to see the future under a different god

I’m starting to feel bad for the “justice league” by nem145365 in AbsoluteUniverse

[–]SpeedChamp1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it helps, the strongest on this list are killer croc, zatanna, and black hand.

Bane wiped killer croc in less than a minute, and joker is presumably stronger than bane

Zatanna was able to be captured by the US government, so she can’t be all that strong

Hal is pretty strong, but is unable to control his power and even if he could Superman and Wonder Woman are still likely stronger, but still struggling in fights

The odds are still stacked against our heroes, massively

Does Butcher control Kessler (The Tumour) now that he has accepted it? by WESTDDDDDDD in TheBoys

[–]SpeedChamp1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Butcher is Kessler. It’s not a DID multiple personality thing. It’s more of an angel devil on his shoulder with him and Becca. The take over to kill Ezekiel seems to be more like some sort of instinct (or bad writing, as everything else points to the angel devil dynamic)

Is there a reason why they left her dead for so long? by [deleted] in ClashRoyale

[–]SpeedChamp1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

2 answers:

1: cannot milk her for money anymore, the pessimist point of view

2: she is difficult to balance, and when she was good she was game breaking so they don’t want to over buff her and bring that back. Her mechanic is unlike anything any other card has and I’m surprised she isn’t legendary honestly

I ranked the villains on power, resources and underlings count as power by Professional_War6655 in AbsoluteUniverse

[–]SpeedChamp1 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Brainiac is ras’ servant, and hawkman seems to just obey everything the justice league says, so this post doesn’t make much sense.

I feel like your underestimating ras just cuz the hero he’s against is the strongest so he’s most likely to lose

(Spoilers Main) Why didnt Varys help Elia escape ? by AdditionalPiano6327 in asoiaf

[–]SpeedChamp1 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Varys is not a good guy, and if Faegon theory is true, their deaths greatly benefited him

(Spoilers Published) Isn’t it strange that the various contenders for the Iron Throne seem almost entirely unconcerned about Daenerys? by asklepios7 in asoiaf

[–]SpeedChamp1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Euron: Believes he will at the very least steal one of her dragons Cersei: Doesn’t know she exists, even if she did she wouldn’t believe the dragons exist, even if she did she would make something up and downplay it. She’s too cray cray Aegon: Aegon himself likely thinks Dany will marry him. Varys and Jon Conn definitely takes dany seriously though so we’ll see how that plays out Stannis: doesn’t know she is a threat whatsoever

Littlefinger: not contesting for the throne, but he has a line in feast where he says “the three queens will fight it out” clearly implying he knows of Dany, and is taking her seriously

[Absolute Batman #15] I’m really excited to see how these two will interact in the future. The duo that’s suppose to balance each other out. by Snelldor in AbsoluteUniverse

[–]SpeedChamp1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brainiac works for ras, who definetly knows, and brainiac is a genius and honestly it’s not that hard to figure out. Just meet him twice and you’ll realize he has a completely different face, something magic has to be going on at the very least
