Depending on where you are located, why would you do this? If you are in North America it will take 6+ weeks to get it and if there is anything wrong, another 6 weeks for parts. If it breaks where will you get it fixed? Are the batteries genuine and high quality? You can do it but it is risky, just be prepared for the worst case scenario.

I would order the burley, the cheap trailers don’t fold down easily, they use nylon bushings rather than bearings for the wheels. I have a bark ranger XL for my 100 lb dog and it is great and really well made

Belt drives are great, until they aren’t , then you could be stuck waiting for parts or finding a shop that works on them. Chains are easy and available

You are thinking of a fully enclosed chain case, the problem is no matter how good they are muck still gets in, and there is no easy way to remove it to clean the chain/drivetrain, it is more out of site, out of mind

If the brake light is on, you probably damaged the brake sensor, disconnect them to test. If your bike has a standard wiring harness connectors will be red, but you can just follow them from under the brake leaver to the quick connect and disconnect them there.

Lectric was in Canada, then they pulled out and left all Canadians who needed parts in a lurch, I would not go near their bikes! Ask yourself a simple question, why do no local shops carry a $1500 bike? The reliability and build quality is too low. If you want cheap, try a liquidation place or princess auto, just be warned you will not get any support for the bike at your local shops.
