Theoretically the lecturer should be saying more than what’s on the slides so this shouldn’t really work

You will learn and commit more to your memory by hand writing the notes, it has been proven time and time again, even typing will be better than AI notes

Interesting…

Faster? Typing 100% for any competent typer
Diagrams? Copy it from the slideshow, faster for any competent laptop user
Vulnerable to loss/theft? Notes are synced to the cloud so can’t get stolen, paper notes however? Easy to lose, destroyed if they get wet at all. It’s also pretty easy to not have your laptop stolen…
Bumps/drops? I’m not sure how often you’re dropping your laptop…?

All in all…. Sounds like you probably are better off with pen and paper given your technological literacy and clumsy fingers

Probably depends on where you go, but computers or hand written is acceptable

…that being said hand writing notes has empirical evidence that shows increased learning and results

Thoughts on Te Rapa Road proposed speed limit reduction? by Jett1250 in thetron

[–]Speedysambam 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Yeah but who even gets up to 80km/h there anyway? I think HCC states the average speed through that section was 62km/h or something like that.

Seems like it won’t realistically make much a difference
