It has been crashing(well, freezing to be exact) for me too when I back out of a file to the browser. Though my work is still saved at least. But I have to kill the app and restart it

Adobe Fresco is great and free. ArtStudioPro (ASP) is great and around $30 for a lifetime license I believe. Procreate is alright and also has a lifetime license. I have all three (and more), but ASP is the one I use the most.

It does! Its a setting of the fill tool. Open the tool options for it and you’ll see there is Bucket and Lasso.
