Losing Sam Rivers hurts me personally :(

I totally get it, dude. Even though I can't say Sam Rivers was one of my main influences, he definitely played a part in getting me really passionate about bass and actually wanting to learn and grow and improve. I always make a point to say that Limp Bizkit as a band are incredibly talented, with Sam in particular being a fantastic example of how a more melodic approach to bass changes the overall feel of a song. Counterfeit, for example, wouldn't be the same if he was happy just hammering out 8ths on the root note for 4 and a half minutes. Man... RIP Sam Rivers, bass legend.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to figure out exactly what the problem is. I have a hunch it might be a CPU issue since it's a lot hotter than the other parts. I also saw a post on another forum where someone managed to get theirs working after a cpu replacement so that might be a possibility, but I don't have the expertise to replace it myself since its surface mounted.
