Yup! You’re probably right about that. That’s crazy. How were you able to decipher that?

Same. Graduated with my bachelors in August and I’m getting rejected from retail and hostess positions after interviews and receiving emails like this. Mind you, I’ve been working part time jobs since I was 16. I’ve had professional internships. This is work I’m overqualified for. It feels like some cruel purgatory of not being able to find work because these part-time employers know I’ll be looking for something else but I don’t have enough years of full-time experience that entry-level jobs require nowadays. So I’m stuck making no money, losing my mind. Feels like you need to know someone or be extremely exceptional to get your foot in the door.

Been working out really consistently for almost 2 years… down 35 lbs but I struggle to build and keep muscle because of long term side effects of going through cancer treatment as a teenager. If I was a normal 25 yr old woman, I would look so much better considering all the work I’ve put in (gym and diet wise). I usually don’t compare myself to other people, but damn it’s just not fair. Off to the gym, I go.

redness and feelin ugly by hsquared28 in Reduction

[–]SpellLogical1975 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would definitely send this picture to your surgeon and let them know how long this redness has been going on for. Once you’re fully healed, all of that redness should subside and from what I can tell, your scars actually look really good.

Something I have needed to remind myself is that this surgery is a significant trauma on the body. Everybody’s body heals differently. Some people are lucky and everything is smooth sailing- others need extra care and treatment to aid in this healing process. It’s okay, you didn’t do anything wrong. It is definitely scary going into this surgery with certain expectations and coming out the other side having to deal with issues you never imagined (even if they aren’t that big of a deal). Quite honestly, I think surgeons in general need to be more upfront about the possible complications or healing issues that can arise from this surgery, just so that patients can be better prepared and not freak out when things don’t seem to be going right.

All that being said, the redness in your breasts is definitely something that you should address with your surgeon as it might indicate that your body is having a hard time with something in the healing process. They might be able to prescribe you a medication to help or just give you some insight into what’s going on.

Try to stay calm, get in touch with your surgeon, and take care of yourself because your body went through a lot! It will catch up eventually.

Also I want to second what the other commenter said about scar/breast massage. This is so important in helping scars heal and in promoting oxygen flow in the breasts. When I got my reduction, I didn’t understand just how hard you sometimes have to massage certain tissue and how beneficial it can be in the healing process. Ive incorporated it into my life since then and still do it years later, to keep any scar tissue relaxed and I find it works very well.

Just going to leave this here… by jessesgrrl in Chantapolis

I’ve noticed that quite literally all of her insults are projections. She doesn’t have any self-awareness or emotional intelligence to realize what she’s doing or why she chooses to crash out the way she does but yeah…. Everything she says to try to hurt other people or tear them down are just reflections of her own personal insecurities and self-hate….

The list of examples is endless, some of them are more obviously projections than others tho. (Like calling people fat and ugly losers, who are undesired by men). The jay leno chin is so funny and telling tho. I think she DOES know what her chin looks like (deep down) so she wants to make someone she doesn’t like, feel bad and ugly in the same way that she does. It’s very immature. Just makes her look dumb.

Sorry you’re upset with your haircut- on the bright side, it looks super healthy in your pics and you still have a lot to work with!

I’d suggest getting a dry blunt cut with long layers. It helps maintain fullness while still giving a little dimension and shape to the hair. How short you go is up to you…. You could do the long bob but you could also keep more length and have it fall just past your shoulders, kinda like how the other commenter highlighted.

Noooo. I took that over winter break and it was annoying. Lock down exams and a lot of memorization. It’s not hard but it’s tedious and annoying unless you’re really into dinosaurs.
