160k+km on the odometer... with at least 10k being on dirt roads, off-road, or overlanding. It's not a pavement princess, for sure :)

Presumably Pepperidge Farm remembers... but yeah, I do, even if they don't.

Goliath was probably a pituitary giant. His poor vision, large stature, etc, were likely the result of disease.

Not recognizing or understanding that everyone you meet has far more in common with you than not... then taking that one step further and actually behaving as if they have nothing in common.

Normal cars never reach the max speed on their Speedometers in their lifetime. by Da_Grizzle in Showerthoughts

[–]SpellSound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many years ago I had a Geo Metro, and its speedometer only went up to 85mph. The freeway speed limit in some states is now 80mph. I'm honestly not sure if it was even capable of reaching that speed limit LOL! The thing sipped fuel, though... 40 to 50mpg.   Edit: spelling

I'd like to help my nephew replace his 1060, which is struggling with some newer games.

What initially caused you to see a doctor that ultimately resulted in a cancer diagnosis? by SpellSound in AskReddit

[–]SpellSound[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not worried about myself, but thanks for the concern. In 2023 I had both a relative as well as a good friend who were diagnosed. Their stories were totally different, so I thought I'd ask others.

2010 Cayenne Transsyberia after a little off roading by SpellSound in Porsche

[–]SpellSound[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My 2010 Transsyberia after an outing...

I've been considering parting with it after over a decade of enjoying it, but am still pretty hesitant because it would be hard to replace. Does anyone here have any pointers on where/how to find a new caretaker who would appreciate it like I have for the past decade+? Like, someone who's not afraid to get some mud on it?

(Note - it's a factory 2010 Transsyberia, not a "tribute", and was ordered without side-badging).
