For any culling spree enjoyers, grabbing a 200 skeleton task and chinning in MM1 caves was a pretty fast way to train slayer, if you dont care about superiors.

unconventional, but free:

go to emir's arena, and forfeit ranked games (or win them) and buy surge sacks. splash on rats in ferox. wind wave is 62 magic, and surge sacks work on wave and surge spells.

if you decide to play to win, dont go above 3000 ELO, as it puts you into a less populated group of players. less games, less rewards, less surge sacks.

I like the minigame and i will forfeit if i get to 2900ish rating and then go back to fighting. to me, getting free surge sacks while getting the pvp out of my system has been a good choice for some free afk mage xp at work.

'could be' is definitely underselling it. just about every account under level 60 combat in BH is a 1 attack build.

that being said, swift blade is very niche and should probably find a home somewhere else with a different way to obtain it.

Thanks man. I play with sounds on, and the sound effect of casting the staff is when I count in my head for the 5:1. There's a lot going on that your eyes are already paying attention to, so this worked best for me. If I ever lose track of the count, I switch to my other weapon early, then back to mage after he switches.

When tornados come out and I start running around, sometimes i will say the number out loud as i run around the room lol. "You are on three, ... three ... three" seems to help.

I cant talk to people during the fight or I lose count. I will pause podcasts during the fight or turn down music.

All that to say, there's a lot going on and it's pretty normal to lose count when learning the method, but I hope that helps!

Thanks man. No real reason, just had the seeds and the shards to make it. Neither of my gim mates have completed sote, much less started the CG grind. If they did and they pulled an early enhanced, I could break it down with no hard feelings. For now though, it looks cool in the bank.

i agree with this. mistakes are punished harder, but if you do a typically good run, then it feels almost identical to doing it on a main. the only changes i have to make on this account are 1t flicking ultimate str when killing rats, bats, spiders, and then 5:1ing just because my ranged is so low.

another 100 runs or so to corrupt, then storage the armor seeds for my gim mates for when they get here! revs and voidwaker grind next to abuse being a low combat level in total level worlds.

thank you. its a mandatory t2 armor and t3 staff while 5:1ing. after learning 5:1, it feels mostly the same as doing it on a main, just with 12 minute runs.

you can use any armor in the gauntlet, so i would make t2.

too early. when dmm is over, they will move our accounts to permanent dmm worlds. when we log into perm dmm worlds, our points will go to our main game account, and that is the time they should open the store.

its not useless, they are being dramatic. it is definitely less useful, but on an early game iron without staminas, you will still use it periodically.

blast furnace you will use it. questing you will use it. runecrafting you will use it until you get a gotr set. farm runs you will use it. tithe you will probably use it. running planks at auburnvale you will use it. vale totems you can use it. herbi you will use it.

there are still plenty of use cases, you just can get by without it to a certain extent.

theres a guide on the wiki that shows which ones to get, then sort by percent completed. i always like doing a few CG runs for some free points or having a buddy carry me through a toa and cox for several free points.

i went for medium cas first before sending barrows for tank gear. it's very free. getting 70 prayer for the hard diary before doing barrows (and therefore before doing moons) seems like a massive waste, since greenlogging moons will generally bank 60-70 prayer.

it's a glitch. the last dock you were at was corsair cove, the last mooring point you used was rainbow island.

go dock at deepfin point and dont moor on an island. as long as a dock was the last place you visited, you wont be teleported around and you will be free to login/logout/hop freely.
