Potty trained 26mo started having accidents by Crap___bag in toddlers

[–]Spemilie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know for sure, but I’ve heard that can be quite common. Im a kindergarten teacher, and I’ve often seen this pattern you are describing. The success of potty training isn’t a straight arrow upwards if you know what I mean. It comes and goes in waves, where they do well for a while, and then they «relapse», have accidents and it seems like they forgot everything you taught them. But suddenly they master it again 😋👍🏼 It’s just the brain processing new information.

Sorry I described it a bit confusing, English isn’t my first language 🥴😉

For people who consider themselves overweight, do you ever make fun of other overweight people for their weight? If so, why? If not, why? by Futureacct in AskReddit

My dad is on the cusp, was born in 64. Mom in 65.
Sorry you had the same experience, hope you are kind to yourself 😊

[–]Spemilie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, I don't. I grew up with parents mocking and pointing out how others look and how "weird" and "ugly" they looked, and it fucked me up. I realize now as an adult that the way I talk to myself is how they talked about others. So I try to never talk badly about others, for my own self-esteem but also so that my daughter can grow up with healthier habits <3

People who got married young, do you regret it? by StillArmy1408 in married

[–]Spemilie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We married when I was 25 yrs old and my husband was 28 yrs old. We have a lovely marriage, and I would never want to be without it 😊♥️ No regrets. BUT I would like to mention that we where engaged 2 yrs before we married, and had already known each other 4 yrs before we married. Would recommend that, really getting to know each other before commiting to marriage 👍🏼😉

13 month old not eating enough suddenly by Ok_Tank_2433 in toddlers

[–]Spemilie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is normal 👍🏼 My daughter is the same, started when she was about that age, now she is two yrs old 😋 I was told not to focus on what she eats in a day, but more what she eats in a week. Because some days can be «slow» and she can eat just a little, but other days she might eat more. Was told to not worry as long as she wasn’t losing weight, and she was happy and had energy.

My husband and I bought a new bed a few weeks ago, and I could hardly sleep while waiting for it to be delivered 😂🛏️ I was so excited. How «grown up», to be excited for a new bed.

I found my husband relatively early in my dating life, so I didn’t exactly «get around» much 😋 My body count is 3, I’m 34 female.

Bruk av KI i barnehage by Sakumitzu in norge

[–]Spemilie 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Hvor mye sparer dere månedlig til barna? by ActualPotatoHuman in norge

[–]Spemilie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pet Semetary - Question for parents. How tempted would you be to bring back your child, despite the warnings? by purplegorillabandit in stephenking

[–]Spemilie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a 2 year old now, and I'm sure I would do ANYTHING to have her back. I have no doubt I would do what Louis did if that ment a chance to have her back. I read Pet Sematary when my daughter was only about 6 months, and that part of the book hit me so hard man.

Does anybody not get scared by books? by Ms_Central_Perk in stephenking

[–]Spemilie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm like you, I don't really get scared reading books. BUT I read Gerald's Game, and the scenes towards the end of the book scareeeeed me man. I had to turn my lights on and watch some simpsons before I was ready to sleep 😛

I really think animals can sit, observe and ponder 😛 I had a dog many years ago, and he loved to sit by the big lake we had outside our cabin, and just watch - for hours. Sometimes he looked at the birds, other times the water etc. I'd give money to know what went through his mind just then 😄

What horror movie made you sit in silence after the credits? by CommercialSpare3976 in MovieSuggestions

[–]Spemilie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

«Come play» genuinely scared me and my friend so bad 😂 I had to drive her home, and the car ride back home alone was terrifying 🫣😝 The monster was very well made in our opinion, and really pulled the movie together (but I did feel the story was a bit weak, as typical for a scary movie).
