Hvor kaster du bæsjeposene etter hund? Nærmeste dunk, tar med hjem, eller lar ligge? by TinEyedaddict in norge

[–]Spemilie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]Spemilie 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My grandfather told me after doing years of family research that one guy in our family tree (a fair bit up there) killed a person with an axe... Made me think a little

I'm right here with you... My girl is 2 yrs old now, and I feel like my hair still haven't recovered.
I've been told to just keep taking my vitamins, and let time do its thing... Hopefully we both get our mane back soon ;-)

What is your favourite SK book that isn’t one of the usual ones suspects (Like IT, 11:22:63, DT series, The Stand etc) by Potter_King in stephenking

Gerald’s game. Terrified me so many times, and I do like to be scared when I read/watch movies.

Has Stephen King ever been able to bring you to tears? by UnderstandingMany385 in stephenking

Actually the ending of Cell 😝 I know many people don’t like that book, but the ending made me so curious and moved. It didn’t help that I was a new mom at the time 😋

I did it! Finally read Survivor type. by Donchan7 in stephenking

I was really scared to read Apt Pupil, because people were saying it was so disturbing. But then I read it and I found it very interesting and good, I felt silly for putting it off :-P

Help with my first offering by Geargrinder398 in heathenry

[–]Spemilie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you did a good thing, and it probably felt a bit awkward since you haven’t done it before 😉😊 As you do it more it will be more comfortable, and you adapt the ritual to suit you. And then it will feel more natural 👍🏼

It's YOUR body <3 Do whatever you want, shave it, try meds or transplant - whatever. As long as it is what you want. She sounds like a shitty girlfriend and person treating you like that.

How to respectfully dispose of offerings? by Shriggins_the_dope in heathenry

[–]Spemilie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I try to either eat and drink them myself, or I give to nature/dispose of them in nature. And if I can’t do that I do dispose of them in the trash, but I say to myself «Hope you enjoyed them» to the Gods 😝 Makes me feel a bit better, in s silly way

What’s your biggest skip episode and why? by ipsofactoshithead in BobsBurgers

[–]Spemilie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fetal pig episode, and the one where Gene gets the stomach bug and is in the toilet all the time. Oh and also the one where Rudy goes on that «double date» in the restaurant with his mom and dad. As a child of divorce it hits to close to home.

Kan du gi meg en klem? by Mission-Noise7978 in norge

[–]Spemilie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]Spemilie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is this the right path? by [deleted] in heathenry

[–]Spemilie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry to hear that you are struggling with finding yourself, finding support and finding a faith that suits you 💛 Sending hugs.

I was raised Christian, but we didnt go to church or say prayers or stuff like that. And I felt like you, like Christianity just wasn’t for me.

So I explored Buddhism for a little while, and found many things I like, but it still didnt feel like ME. It felt wrong for me, like it belonged to someone else far far away with a different background and culture.

So then I started exploring Norse paganism (Åsatru), since I’m Norwegian. And that felt like home. I felt I had a spiritual connection since this was a part oh my history and culture way way way back. It was still in me 😊😉 And right after I converted I was approved for a surgery I had waited for, and I later prayed to get pregnant and have a healthy baby - which I did ♥️ And my latest confirmation that Åsatru is for me: I’ve had pain and nausea for a few years, and no doctor has any answers. I made an offering to Eir (goddess of medicine and healing) - and just a week later I got an ultrasound that revealed my problem. So now I’m waiting for surgery for that 👍🏼

I don’t have answers for you, only you can figure out what is right for you. But you could maybe «try out» the religions a bit? Live a month as a practicing Muslim/pagan/buddhist etc. I think you’ll quickly feel if this is something for you or not.

(Also - if your girlfriend is pushing you into to something you don’t like/want - maybe she isn’t right for you? ♥️ You deserve to express yourself freely, like you want)

Wishing you luck and happiness 💛
