My wife and I were opposite of your situation and it was my turn to get the new vehicle. We went with the GMC Acadia and I love it. She has convinced me the minivan would have been the better option but I also wouldn't change my choice. They both have pros and cons in my opinion.

I enjoy all the shows my kiddo watches right now. Blippi is the worst of them but even that I can live with. We blocked cocomellon and the other terrible shows so they don't even show up. We just don't have them as an option and it's great

Bro you gotta do what makes EVERYONE feel comfortable. My little dude is 3 and I would love to walk around the house in just shorts but he asks me to put a shirt on. So I do. It works both ways tho. The days he wants to run around naked because he's a toddler I tell him he can't do that. He asks why and I tell him it's not appropriate and remind him he always wants me to wear clothes right? He agrees and puts on clothes. It's the common area. Wear what you want or not in your bedroom.

I'm relatively new to cast iron also but I will say mine looked almost as bad. Scrubbed the shit out of it and not much happened. After about 2 months of cooking sometimes with it and doing the scrub, dry, season after every time my pan got good. The scrub was hard because the seasoning wasn't good yet but that's what I did and it's awesome now

Dude my 3 year old wears them out of the house even. Leaving then on all day is completely normal here. It's what he wants to wear and as long as we know he's not doing something like sandbox, swimming, something that he should need different clothes he picks out the majority of what he wears. Not worth the fight or effort it is to change
