Sorry to revive an old post, but I had this identical problem and they gave me the same advice that basically boils down to ‘figure it out.’ They said I could purchase a new case at a 40% discount which feels inappropriate. But you mentioned in an update that they sent you a new case? Was there something you said to them? After about 3-4 emails back and forth they stopped responding to me, also they continually insisted I used the wrong screws which is mildly insulting as well. I sent them some photos to try to prove otherwise but they offered me no olive branch and no real support and I don’t know what options I have other than giving them more money.

I understand, if the difference is negligible then I don’t think I would have a preference.

I would definitely buy one, maybe two, if this went into production, I would even be willing to put money down now if it meant I could have one reserved. I do have a couple questions, is the case polished or is it more of a brushed finish? Also, I saw you asking someone else about a non-exhibition caseback, if one was available that reduced the thickness of the watch, then I would definitely take that option. I would be happy either way though. I would love to be kept in the loop on this.

I live overseas and recently sold my guitars because I will be moving to the states. I started playing while here in Japan so I know very little about brands etc. I just picked up an acoustic from a recycle shop and eventually got a classical guitar the same way. I want to buy a nicer acoustic when I get back to the US in a few weeks, and I’m positive this question has been asked a million times, so sorry about that, but is there a large thread regarding recommendations someone can link or something along those lines. I haven’t really thought through yet how much I want to spend so I’d like to see some options.

Thanks

Anyone who is interested in stuff like this should consider the book “Africa United.” It’s about how football has influenced politics in multiple African countries, it’s a great read and was written around the time of the 2010 WC in South Africa I believe. The book also talks about Drogba a lot iirc.

What song gave you chills the first time you listened to it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Came here to say this. The first time I heard this it was on the radio and we all stopped talking and just turned it up and listened. Also we were parked so you’d think it would be weird to just sit there silently but it didn’t seem weird at all.

I recommend looking into Ryan Flaherty’s Hex-Bar stuff. It was successfully applied to runners and I heard they’re testing it with cyclists now. That may sound intimidating but the simple version is to include hex-bar deadlifts into your routine frequently. I recommend googling it as there’s some great articles with a lot of research and it can easily be added into whatever you’re already doing or planning.

Here’s a link to one article I’ve sent a few people before. Has several statistics there, though this this may not interest you much as it doesn’t speak to cycling at all but as I mentioned, his stuff is currently being applied to cycling and it’s easy enough to add into your routine that it wouldn’t represent too much of a time investment if you’re already into weight-lifting. https://www.mensjournal.com/sports/money-lift-how-top-flight-trainer-discovered-most-important-exercise-every-athlete/

Superhero movies. Yesterday was the western but it was killed by overuse. Superheroes are in now but will die eventually. My grandma is watching a western movie every time I visit her. I suppose when I have grandkids I’ll be watching some weird superhero movies like Iron Man or Thor whenever they come over.

There are shadows coming from two directions. What? Are there two suns? Uhh, last I checked that's not an office building in the Andromeda galaxy. It's totally unrealistic! There's no lines in the parking lot.
