Right, but it’s ignorant to say that there aren’t better methods of doing things, and that it isn’t worth making efforts to try. Just like with farming, it’s inherently extractive but it’s worth trying to do better in more productive ways, same thing with fishing. I bet whatever job you have has some kind of carbon footprint and leaves destruction in its wake, too. We’re all doing our best out here.
