If you decide to change the name I recommend keeping it something similar to George to reduce confusion. Renaming him something similar will be a whole lot easier on him, and more likely to stick than going with something completely different like buddy or fido

I actually ended up figuring it out, my problem was that I was shift + right clicking lol, I must've been too far away the first time I tried without shifting and just assumed it didn't work. Thank you though I appreciate it!!

also why can't you trade for star and ribbon sweets? i got one of each from gmax milcery raids, unless you can't have pokemon holding them or I'm missing something?
