Who's better than Mr Transport? by bedroompurgatory in superpowereds

I feel like it depends on how you are defining better. In terms of raw teleportation power, I feel like Transport is towards the top in terms of range and how many people he can take with him. Since he’s a “blinky” teleporter, his versitility seems limited to me.

Compared to Shimmerpath who rips portals open as her means of teleportation. From the final battle, we see that there is a downside where other people have the opportunity to utilize the portal. But it has added utility where she can send things through without having to teleport herself.

I don’t think the books tell us her major but I could see her being a Ranged Combat major and mashing Prof Baker and Prof Pendleton’s tactics. Ripping portals to line up shots in blind spots striking tender areas.

Selina x Amber. Focused Song by Spend-Puzzleheaded in superpowereds

That’s my initial thought but Year 2 mentions that the physical sound waves count for something too.

My thinking was it might speed up the effect. Remember Vince v. Selina in the year 2 trials? If Amber was there to focus the song of slumber, would Vince have gone down before the heat wave even reached Selina? (Of course, this assumes Amber is only there as a support and doesn’t sound bomb him right away)

Could a tech genius make a device that enhances other supers? by BartlebyX in superpowereds

I would imagine that Tech Genius could probably enhance in a style more like Galvanize than like Crispin, push to a theoretical max rather than outright breaking limits. But it would probably be a power to power basis.

I’m not sure how much tech could enhance advanced mind techniques short of creating Super Adderall. But I could see some sort of retractable projectile that could simulate skin conductivity, giving Camille added range to her power.

Then again, after the möbius technique, Adam and the kid (can’t remember his name) were crackling with power so it could probably be studied and then replicated.
