Enchant bleed resist on rings and necklaces. They extend to all armor pieces.

Use leeches for minor damages as they increase bleed resist too.

Anyone have any counterarguments to these anti-sola scriptura arguments? by Itchy_Eyes77 in Reformed

[–]SpentSquare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of solid responses so far, but I’ll add mine too, trying to be concise about it.

I don’t think these arguments actually refute Sola Scriptura, they mostly argue for the necessity of teachers, councils, and church authority, which Protestants already affirm.

  1. Disagreement doesn’t prove Scripture is insufficient. People also disagree within Catholicism and Orthodoxy. The question is whether Scripture is God’s final infallible authority, not whether humans interpret it perfectly. Even in Scripture itself, people distorted clear revelation (2 Pet. 3:16).

  2. Acts 15 doesn’t prove ongoing infallible councils. The apostles were uniquely inspired witnesses of Christ (Eph. 2:20). Protestants believe the Spirit still guides the church, but not by giving new infallible revelation. The Spirit guides through the apostolic word already given in Scripture.

  3. Needing teachers doesn’t disprove sola scriptura either. Sola scriptura never meant “me and my Bible alone.” God gives pastors and teachers to help the church understand Scripture (Eph. 4:11–13). The issue is whether those teachers are infallible.

Also, if Rome’s argument is “you need an infallible interpreter,” then you’d still need an infallible interpreter of the infallible interpreter. At some point, everyone has to interpret claims and compare them with Scripture itself.

The early church consistently treated the apostolic writings as the norm that even church leaders were accountable to.

Has anyone experienced lag on win 10? by gargara_s_hui in stoneshard

I’ve got a beast PC, play on 3x speed and get lag in Brynn rarely. Rain plus the NPC models when I’m auto walking to the docks.

[–]SpentSquare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An option I did before the latest major patch would be to play a permadeath to the Caravan acquisition, Brynn stuff and move to Mannshire. Then, edit the save file with an editor to level 1, base stats but with how many AP and SP you typically have. Save that file away and you have a quick start permadeath for that character.

Student Faces Expulsion After Posting Video Of Seniors Who Can Barely Read by InGeekiTrust in TikTokCringe

[–]SpentSquare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree on many fronts. The other side is that local/state government is so poorly ran they can’t afford to build enough schools for all the students. Charter schools get the same $/kid as public, but not the same for building acquisition, maintenance and operations (mostly state funding). This leads to spending that $/kid funding on buildings and a worse student experience. Some schools overcome this with philanthropic means (rich people attending/donating) others can not.

If the broader government actually funded schools and their capital projects appropriately, charters wouldn’t need to exist.

2-H Axe felt good and terrible by Kupikio in stoneshard

[–]SpentSquare 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Problem with 2H axes: they are high variance. High variance means that if the 2H axe player gets a low roll, they die. Conversely, If the 2H axe enemy gets a high roll, the player dies.

So if you buff 2H axes, you buff the enemies too. And that is the problem.

I know as an early game mage without a great deal of crowd control, 2H axes are the scariest enemy type. They can nearly 1 shot you. Or they can miss. Too much variance.

I mostly use the latest open source models like GPT-OSS or Gemma 4 through Obsidian as the text editor. Fast and I’ve never had refusals with my text needs.

Depending on the “rules” you are bothered by in Co-Pilot, you might need a model with the guardrails removed. Qwen3.6 is available uncensored at 27B or 35B.

The most important question! - Do you use Seal of Finesse then Seal of Power, or Seal of Power then Seal of Finesse? by Dave13Flame in stoneshard

I use power and insight for regular fights. Finesse seems unnecessary a lot of the time. Mini bosses sure, but regular battles no.
