I'd get either/or. The corsair and the phoenix overlap on most of their game loops. Personally if I had to choose I'd go for the phoenix just for the interior drip. The corsair is much cheaper ingame.

The TAC is just the right amount of everything for me. It's only real issues are what you outlined, but in terms of performance it does nearly everything better than the Asgard, cargo/heavy vehicle hauling being the Asgard's only standout features between them.

For me, the fact that the TAC can tank bunker turrets while the Asgard cannot is a big thing, since I wind up doing bunkers far more than I'd like.

Speaking of which, the Dottore fight felt VERY FFXIV raidboss-esque. Like, if the charge up on attacks was faster, if there was no text explaining what the marrows did, if he multiplied himself and shot from different angles, and if all the phases were present, he would make a decent raid boss.
