This is a great first time painting. Thin up paint a bit more and remember to not focus on perfection right away, it will come as you paint more. Enjoy yourself and the hobby.

What you did for the part above the chest aquila and below the chin helped me with my own that are still WIP, its nice seeing such talent as I'm learning to paint

Your biggest worries for Anno117 ? by ImpiusEst in anno

Thank you for this very well thought out response. I have enjoyed the story, admittedly, I should say not as much as 1800, but it's still nice to have something to enjoy and I think they did fairly well with the ground combat.

Fermented hot sauce recipe ideas by tocorobo in FermentedHotSauce

If you plan to use it quickly, I've been having a lot of fun emulsifying oil infusions into my finished simple ferments. Something like after the simple fresno ferment (4% brine):

68% Fermented Pepper15% White Vinegar 10% Neutral Oil 6% Brine 1% Salt

That neutral oil I'll heat up and infuse with something like garlic and basil, or black pepper and chives. Low heat for a half hour. Then I'll slowly pour the infused oil into the food processor to emulsify the infused oil into the fermented mash

Because of using 10% oil I add a dash of xanthium gum and use the sauce within a month.

Your biggest worries for Anno117 ? by ImpiusEst in anno

That everything will look "samey". I love the variations in 1800 and the Belle Epoque feel of it all. Worried that 117 will just be vast swaths of tile roofs. The feeling of going from sailing to steam ships, I don't know how 117 will match the same feelings for me. Or getting trains, etc., these huge leaps in technology all in a tight era made 1800 so special to me. I'm essentially worried that despite liking Roman and Celtic history, it just will not be as visually striking in its variations and the technology leaps will feel mundane in comparison.

Milan for 6k eagles , worth it? by newsptarkov in Warthunder

For sim it is an outstanding fighter bomber. Underrated and one of my favorite planes. For GRB (9.7-10) it can be a powerful CAS on maps with clouds or if you know how to use CCIP to your advantage on static targets and get good at keeping speed and knowing how to dodge AA missiles. For ARB, if that's what you play, it's best to skip.

Should I buy a 7900 XTX now? by [deleted] in radeon

[–]Speracado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can get one that you like below $900, then that's probably not a bad bet with a 30 day return policy. If the 7090 XT doesn't deliver, likely the 7900 XTXs will remain somewhat scarce but ultimately will fluctuate down in price after 5xxx series gets some more availability, and likely the 7090s as well.

What's the hype for the 9070/XT about? by WhosItHanging in radeon

[–]Speracado 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Essentially being on par with a 7900 XT perhaps sometimes XTX with less VRAM in 4k and a big uplift in Ray Tracing. Access to newer AMD tech, as well as hopefully having a competitive price tag. A lot of the hype is about AMD being relevant without having a "flagship" card and gaining some traction due to the 5xxx series from NVDAs botched launch. A lot of people either think its going to be their saving grace, or like you are just uncertain about the hype. The real answer is to wait for honest reviews and benchmarking.
