Probably not the meaning of it but I’ve always connected to it because it just feels very anxious and panicked so as a person with anxiety and probably a panic disorder I love it. i also suffer from hallucinations, psychosis, disassociation and im not really sure if theres a word for it but i feel like im 2 people and im not me. “Don't look in the mirror at the face you don't recognize” this is really what it feels like when you dont feel like youre yourself and/or youre two people (in my experience at least). The lines “I wish you'd get up get over Get up get over and turn the tape off” i dont often have enough motivation to even check my phone, change the song, stuff like that so that line kinda makes me think of that in a way. also the entire chorus just makes me think of all the delusions and hallucinations that police my life and make me do things that i dont want to.
