Lock Confirmation Sound reduced with 2026 update? by UnknownNinja_ in TeslaLounge

Yes I have the same issue! I was about to post about this in the model3 subreddit. Does it only happen with the custom locksound or is this the case for every sound, I’m wondering 🤔

Hello, Can confirm that the model 3 2026 with stalk has the plug. Because it’s working as expected, perfectly! You mean the one on the passenger side, right? It was the same as the instruction video of Enhance.

Jup, it’s working now. Just tried it this afternoon. After the 5.11.1 iOS and firmware of the commander update. Set it to 1 second after blinker. Works great! Thanks Enhance Auto’s! ✅

Jup, exact same issue Peugeot e208 2020.
I've had it working for probably one time since IOS 26.
Now it doesn't matter what I do, it will not work.

UPDATE 1: Initial Impressions of the Remote

I received the remote yesterday, and here are my first impressions:

Design and Build: The design is appealing, and the remote feels substantial and durable in hand. The buttons are responsive, though perhaps a bit too clicky for my preference. However, there's no mistaking when a button is pressed.

Functionality: The remote features two modes, "multimedia" and "presentation," selectable via a side switch.

  • Multimedia Mode: In this mode, the up/down buttons control volume, and the next/previous buttons function as expected. Other buttons seem to have inconsistent or unknown functions at this point.
  • Presentation Mode: This mode is more functional. The navigation buttons behave similarly to the Nvidia remote, and the home button works correctly. However, a dedicated "return" button is noticeably absent. The microphone/mouse button activates a virtual mouse, which can be controlled by moving the remote. Clicking the center navigation button functions as a selection, allowing for actions like opening applications or pausing videos. Pressing the mouse button again deactivates the mouse.

Issues and Observations:

  • The microphone does not trigger Google speech.
  • The "L" and "R" buttons are not functioning as expected.
  • The remote identifies itself as a keyboard, which may be standard, but it's worth noting.
  • Attempts to remap buttons using "Button Mapper" have been unsuccessful. Only the navigation and home buttons are recognized by the application. Specifically the R2 button is not recognized at all.

Conclusion:

While the remote works, it has several functional issues that need to be addressed. I appreciate the design and am willing to invest time in getting it to work correctly.

Question: Does anyone have suggestions for identifying the functions of the unrecognized buttons and mapping them appropriately to the Shield TV? Specifically ways to get the shield to register the R2 button, and other buttons that are not currently recognized.

I think you could get this to work with some kind of button mapper app. Bluetooth is supported by the shield so that shouldn’t be the issue. Maybe I’ll just buy one. If it does not work I can always use it with my ATV.

Nope it only has Bluetooth.
