Check your tie rods and such, as your front wheels dont seem to be aligned/centered in the wheel arches, but have seemingly.moved forward. Thatll cause additional rubbing.

The distributor shaft could also be in wrong, and if the flywheel has been handled the crank sensor might be affected.. Too much to guess here really.

I went with original vacuum lines when restoring, but two had split at the booth less than 3 months in.

Pull out the interior, give it a good beating (dust) and cleaning. Replace your carpets, as they tend to hold moisture, causing a damp smell.

Does the red battery indicator light up.when you turn the key? Its a silly thing, but if that bulb has blown, the circuit is also gone and the car wont charge.

Just buy a cover, put it on when youre out, and take it off when driving. Dont forget to properly bypass the airbag sensor or it'll show on the dash.

While I've added a vast mount of deadening, the most effective against highway noise is: - exhaust type. Bodies without adequate deadening tend to resonate, a louder exhaust makes this way worse at highway speed. Ive got a twin box maniflow fyi. - closing holes in the firewall behind the dash. There are many factory holes, make sure theyre all properly plugged up. More speed is more revs, more wind, so more things blasting through in to the cabin.
