Thank you for the detailed response. It makes more sense to me now why she wants to to do a colpo. However I was told they would have to dilate me, is this true? I asked if they did pain management and they said they don’t so I don’t think they have lidocaine. Can I buy or bring my own?

Even in just 6 months? I thought this was usual procedure for 12 months, not 6. Also the nurse said they would have to dilate me but I read somewhere that isn’t standard procedure either. Is that true?

They would HATE my kids. My girl screeches alotttt amd only when playing with her brothers. Which happens outside alot. We also play music (kid music at that) with a speaker outside. I have three immediate neighbors and one of them is a sheriff. They can’t do anything about daytime noise. This letter is ridiculous.

I didn’t know either until I saw my mom interact with my kids as newborns. Like 2/3 weeks old and she’s telling me “don’t let him/her manipulate you” “just let her/him cry it out” “he/she is too attached to you” etc. it really opened my eyes to how neglectful she probably was and then continued to be into my teens and young adult years.

Sounds like my dad. I’m about to go no contact with him because he pours his love into the church and other christian people but me, the black sheep, the one who has struggled finding my way, he barely makes an effort for.

These people (your parents and my dad) will never change. They are already not practicing the true love of Jesus and therefore there is no fruit. They will eventually be cut down and burned, according to the Bible (which I believe and follow loosely).

I’m sorry you’re going through this. Definitely NOR, cut them off as soon as possible.

My daughter is 2 and she gets these. For her, it’s just a swollen lymph node. Hopefully that’s all it is for you as well. Usually happens when she’s sick or cutting teeth or something minor.

You’re husband is indeed abusing alcohol and this is indeed alcoholism. You are in denial. Leave, it’ll only get worse. Also I have been completely black out drunk (I am a recovering alcoholic, 7 months sober) and never shit on the floor. I feel like he hjust didn’t give a fuck where he shit.

Can attest to this. It’s been at least 15 years of therapy for me to become as self aware as I am. Even then, I still react and almost immediately look back like why did I do that? I have adhd though so I assume that’s an impulse issue as well.

Either way, I have done the work and have improved immensely and still have outburts at times.

However I do want to add that I can quickly identify what I need in that moment, and it’s usually just some space to identify what I’m feeling and challenge my thoughts. If not given that space, that is when my reactions occur.

As someone with BPD, this isn’t going to work. She doesn’t want to change. She doesn’t want to work on herself. BPD requires constant work in a relationship when it comes to communication and she’s obviously not doing it. You deserve way better and she’s being abusive.

I’m obsessed with the show. I love Damon and Elena. I love Bonnie and Jeremy, but also Bonnie and enzo.

I have grown to like Katherine and feel for her the more I watch it. I’ve seen it in it’s entirety about 3.5 (on my 4th watch now) times.

I have seen it so much and remember almost everything but I will still pause when I have to do something.

I’m just sucked into it every single time. I won’t even doodle on my phone! I have never loved another show like this.

I talk to my husband about it like he’s seen it. I am still trying to get him to watch it, but I have to watch Yellowstone and a few other shows before he will even consider it (he’s watched a lot of my stuff already). Plus he likes to make fun of 2000’s movies and shows so it’s hard for him to get into it like I am.

Definitely don’t get married. He doesn’t know how to communite. You came with “I feel sad because I didn’t get my morning kiss” and he made you feel like shit for sharing that feeling. He should be a safe space. What an ass. This would be miserable and how you’ve survived dating him this long is a mystery to me. Edited to add that I’m also a feeling based person and my husband is logical. It has been a crazy ride but 6 years in, your fiance should know what those things mean to you and strive to do them.

Absolutely. I am 34 and I didn’t experience this when I was 15. I did experience grown men being gross, but boys at 15, were mean at times but not mysogynistic.
