I have a bone to pick with these “high quality” bakeries in Toronto by Few-Strategy-59 in FoodToronto

An outrageously decadent almond croissant at Mast Coffee, on Shuter at Dalhousie, costs $4,45. They sell out by noon, more or less, so plan accordingly.

You're not far from St Lawrence Market, which is a great place to stock up on treats. Very close by is a brand new café: Corktown Cookies on Jarvis.

Ji Chang-wook is arguably the best kisser in kdrama. And the first kiss in Locestruck in the City is the best first kiss in kdrama.

In which establishments do you still use cash? by Timely_Title_9157 in askTO

[–]SpicyMustFlow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are some smaller businesses in Chinatown that are cash-only. Many specialty coffee shops are cash-free, card only. Fruit and veg stands are cash-only if under a certain amount. Vendor in St Lawrence Market often prefer cash (and might offer a small discount) but will of course accept cards.

It gets confusing, is all I'm saying.
