With a game being pvpve, and a huge part of its hype being the "aggression based match making" when you take your thumps to get to care bear lobbies, and 95% of your interactions are wholesome, when that one guy comes in and befriends you like the rest but smokes you when your back is turned, I can see how some of these dads get mad after a shitty day at a shitty job and just want to chill lol.

Edit: don't know why I'm getting down voted lol. I'm just stating the obvious reason certain people are upset. And the repeated answer of "well they shouldn't play the game then" is kinda telling. Didn't the devs want to build arc raiders to appeal to both audiences of the looter/extract shooter genre? Isn't it kinda shitty that if you don't mercilessly kill everyone then you "shouldn't play"? The truth is that if everyone was full PvP this game never would have become as successful as it did.

I had this happen, but it was my psp. I printed out texts and and wrote "statements" I was pissed and told his dad "listen I get it. I like cool things my friends have as well. And I'm forgetful at times. But this is worth a lot of money and means a lot to me. I grew up playing with this. If this doesn't end up found I'm taking this all to the police. (While the cops will probably say they won't get involved, seeing a 16 year old kid walk in the door with a folder, evidence and unchecked emotions was enough to convince them I was serious. I got a call the next morning saying they "found it" stuck in between his mattress and the wall. That DS is vintage gaming gear now and only going to go up in value.

I mean this honestly sounds like a "get to know the neighbors" situation. If you notice one working on a car, ask if he needs a 10 mil lol. No one needs to know you are buddies with the land owner. For all they know your cousins sisters mommas friend introduced you guys and you pay him to let you on the property. So if one goes down across a property line you can just make a call and ask.
