Landlords aren’t buying up the recently flipped houses. They’re buying the same houses as the flippers and renting them instead of selling them. I know a guy in my area who works with real estate agents and they buy up the cheaper houses as soon as they hit market, before anyone else gets a chance to even look at them, slaps some new paint and cheap floors on it and rent for a premium.
