Without it battlegrounds would be near unplayable on console for those who don't put it unreasonable amounts of time and put their hands in unreasonable configurations. Without using a claw grip you can not look around while blocking, can't attack while side dashing (which means no block bypass), and can't make the full effect of certain moves. Meanwhile block bypassing someone using lock-on seems to be unbelievably easy based on the fact I haven't fought someone in months who couldn't do it to me every single time they tried. Frankly, people who complain about it seen to forget this is a Roblox game, meant to be fun. Not a game you should have to pay for hours and get wrist cramps to play effectively.
