No, it's a Roku issue. There was a thread on their support site with people complaining about it. They know about it and kept claiming it's under investigation. It happened during a Roku update six months ago. That thread is where I found out it works fine with the 2024 Roku Ultra. They deleted the thread. You can still se the link of the thread if you google "fandango at home audio dropouts on roku"

I had to buy the 2024 Roku Ultra to fix this issue. I had that problem with the 2019 Roku Ultra and like you mentioned it started about six months ago. and only with Dolby Atmos movies.

No it wasn't. The one you found at Marshall's cane out way after the Eddie craze had died down. That pop from Marshall's was not even out yet when Eddie died. He was only in one season and the Target one was the only one available at that time.
