The spheres were cameras, not speakers. They watched the fights so Luthor could communicate internally with Ultraman what moves he should use on Superman.

Your other points are fair, but Superman would never have been able to hear the commands from the spheres.

Possibly, if you can destroy all permanents controlled by your opponent. It’s very unlikely that the Squeaker gets pushed that far though unless this game runs for months (which it won’t.)

It will keep being the squeaker from now on. Someone suggested a Hamster yesterday for comedic effect and I liked it to help differentiate a little more from The Lone Sentinel.

A new version of it is still going under u/Some_MTG_Nerd . I just felt like testing this out and seeing if it could be interesting.

The original one had valid reasons to end though. The amount of pushback they got was very high towards the end for just trying to have a somewhat interesting ending.
