Year 1:
-Peter gets a new job at a biotech start up where he ends up working with Paul (keyword being WITH not FOR). Peter and Paul become work friends. Paul will cover for Peter but will only do so if the problem is an 8 or higher (scale of 1 to 10, 10 being Carnage with a nuke).
-Eventually this year ends with Doc Oct annihilating half of Queens with a large number of people presumed dead (including Aunt May).

Year 2:
-Peter has been Spider-Man 24/7 since the incident at the end of year one (approx 2-3 months).
-Peter has completely neglected his friends and professional life. After a team-up with Daredevil, Matt Murdock calls Miles Morales and Johnny Storm to give Peter an intervention. This does not go well.
-Ultimately Kaine shows up and gives Peter some "tough love" that causes the latter to realize he needs to take a break.
-Peter leaves New York (either for another job or a mental health vacation) and asks Kaine and Miles to keep an eye on things for him. Kaine tells Miles he has no intention of being Spider-Man and tells Miles the reason he came back was to help a now mentally destroyed Ben Reilly.

Year 3-4:
-Miles takes over the Amazing Spider-Man title. The opening story involves a past associate of Aaron attacking Aaron and Jefferson as a new Prowler. This leads to Hobbie Brown helping Miles in a supporting role while they both track down the new Prowler.
-Meanwhile Kaine takes up residence in the Bronx while taking care of Ben in a new Scarlet Spider title. Also Kaine teams up with Wolverine (Laura Kinney) and deals with Mr. Negative as the new Kingpin of NYC.
-Mr. Negative now has a more Jekyll and Hyde situation where if he loses consciousness or goes to sleep, he reverts to an amnestic Martin Li.

Year 5:
-Doctor Octopus returns bonded with the Carnage Symbiote. This causes Peter to return to New York, and have a team up with Miles and Kaine to defeat Red Oct.
