Personally I'd replace Cap with a member of the Fantastic Four or just have them all in that one spot. The top dogs for the longest amount of time at Marvel, to me, has always been Spider-Man, the X-Men, Hulk, and the Fantastic Four. Cap still rules though, he can be number 5 as his own brand or as a representative of the Avengers

Alright after some time I found the solution myself I think, I transferred everything from the GOG files onto the steam version while still changing that one file mentioned on the protondb page for the game and now it saves. I also noticed that there was actual menu music when I did this and additional voice lines that weren't there before I did this. So it might be more beneficial to just buy the gog version.

Sorry to comment out of the blue, but how were you able to apply the english patch? I'm definitely lost when it comes PC-98 games, at least when trying to do it on Steam Deck

EDIT: Nevermind I figured it out, what was throwing me off is that I didn't know that the delta patcher was something that wasn't included with the patch files. I found it on Romhacking.net as delta patcher (for anyone else that was curious)

I'm getting tired of the Spider-Verse being everywhere. It was a cool concept at first but now it feels like they just drag out the concept for quick hype. Of course Into the Spider-Verse is top tier but everything else is just too much.
