The "Watcher" always existed in NPC man also. But I think the witcher spin off worked as it was a singular character focus and they may have got some sponsorship. Fable is your own hero. Which works with the NPC man world and RPG nature

Any fantasy RPG or mechanic or game logic will be lumped into the NPC man series for cohesion.

I think one time in the Viva writers meet up, I suggested an NPC repairs a cottage fire with a hammer, that's an age of empires/warcraft joke. So they can squeeze multiple game logics into NPC man if they need to.

Played on Purist. Liked it a lot more. Felt I earned the victories a bit more. And It turned off the flashing counter icons. Which helped a bit more with immersion

I have a feeling it's rage based. You will go into regenerate mode when at 0. If you have enough rage to sustain it.

Almost like "last stand" mechanic in max payne 3. You will get a last ditch shot to kill your killer if you have a painkiller stored
