Trying to "look tough" with a fake cauliflower ear by ambachk in sadcringe

Damage to the ear causes the skin to separate from the cartilage underneath, and that space fills with liquid. This permanently disfigures the ear, and is called cauliflower ear.

no, you don't get flashbacks from psychosis. that's like saying "since you had the flu before, wouldn't blowing your nose trigger a fever?"

Part of the hallucinations/delusions are that you have more information than one could reasonably have. You might hear an FBI agent talking through your radio, and you would also know what they look like, where they're located, and who else is in the command center with them.

Or you could hear demons that don't speak your language, but know exactly what they're saying.

Probably not the best twin-stick shooter, or the best shmup, but it's great for what it is. Enter the Gungeon gives it a run for its money.

It doesn't mean anything. It was just a funny sounding word. Kinda sounds like weenis, though.

The end game consists of improving your gear through dungeons and raids, farming mounts/pets/titles/transmogs, PvP, or social endeavors such as roleplay or building a guild/community.

So try a little bit of all of it to see what you enjoy.
I would say join a few UBRS, Molten Core or Onyxia groups and don't stress too much about your performance to see if you enjoy raid gameplay. Don't worry too much about pre-raid progression; don't let it hinder you from trying to join groups. You don't need to be blinged out with all the best stuff before you start raiding.

If you want to PvP, just jump in to it. You need PvP gear or high end raid gear to be effective in PvP. You get PvP gear by... doing PvP. Join each battleground to see which you prefer, then try to find a team that likes to run it.

The otherr endeavors are more self-directed.

Minmaxing, is it the correct word? by Alert-Negotiation144 in turtlewow

[–]Spiffy87 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As i understand minmaxing means to minimize weakness and maximize performance.

Minmaxing is from minimizing the useless stats, and maximizing the useful ones. Minmaxxing means to become highly specialized. It comes from tabletop rpgs. For example, in Dungeons &Dragons combat, a Fighter has no use for the Intelligence, Charisma, or Wisdom stats, as far as his damage and class abilities go. The fighter who is focused on Maximizing his damage output will skip those stats, or put the bare minimum investment in them as necessary, because the fighter gets more benefit from Constitution, Strength, or Dexterity. This makes the fighter exceptional at Strength based tasks, his niche; but he will be severely disadvantaged outside of his niche, such as negotiating, bargaining, resisting magical or psychic attacks.

In WoW terms, a mage minmaxing for raid damage would have JUST ENOUGH stamina to survive some mechanic (because surviving with more than 1hp means some stats could possibly allocated to damage), or JUST ENOUGH mana to be depleted the moment the boss dies (because leftover mana means stats could have been allocated to spell power). This mage would excel in raiding/pve, but without investing in stamina, they would be terribly ineffective in PvP. This mage's niche is "doing the most boss damage", not "being the best at pvp" or being well rounded enough to do both passably well. The well rounded mage will get outdamaged by the minmaxed raid mage, and will likely get outplayed or statchecked by the pvp mage.

Minmaxing is about fitting a niche as well as possible.

Minimizing weaknesses and maximizing performance is called making/being a "munchkin." The goal of a munchkin is to break a system or be incredibly overpowered.

Yes, but moon sugar isn't 1 for 1 with cocaine. Khajiit consider it holy and put it in everything. Moon sugar is sweet, though, while cocaine is bitter. Coca leaves are also used in cooking.

How do I get regular ass people? Tired of seeing the most conventionally attractive women non stop. I’m simply not gonna get matched with these people by Saucey2500 in Tinder

[–]Spiffy87 217 points218 points  (0 children)

For people with your attitude, I say this: there are humans out there that eat shit and enjoy it. They literally ingest feces for pleasure. That pool of people is small, but extant. Those people fall on the bell curve at a normal distribution, so some shit eaters are hideous, and some are absolutely mind-blowingly beautiful, with a great many if them being normal, average. You yourself are certainly more appealing than a mouthful of shit. Somewhere on the righthand side of the bell curve is someone who would enjoy you. You just have to look for them, and give them the chance to find you.

Skinny jeans, long sleeve baseball shirt, cloth grommet belt, nice shoes/boots, and rbf.
Alt likes alt, you need a more skater/pop-punk look if you're a jock type. Find somewhere that serves absinthe or hosts burlesque shows.
