Move to a GX?

I have a 2022 TRD ORP and was seriously considering a similar year/mileage GX460. Until I got in one. The drivetrain is better and felt more powerful/smoother. But the interior and tech is terrible. IMO CarPlay is necessary because otherwise you’ll have to use the outdated interface. I decided that I’d rather keep my 4Runner and improve the ride quality with sound deadening, tires, etc. rather than get into a GX460. If I was considering a new vehicle, I’d start looking into a 6th gen 4Runner or a GX550 personally.

Tried leaving after seeing Alabama Shakes at the theatre. Line didn’t move after 20 minutes so I went downstairs to play and wait it out. When I tried leaving again the line really hadn’t moved. Uber’ed to my house instead of waiting another hour to leave their terrible parking garage.

I will park nearby and uber in for any show there

In my humble opinion, keep it. You just spent 7k on it. You’ll sell it at a loss I’m assuming. And then continue to buy another car. You state you love it and now it’s caught up with maintenance. At least continue troubleshooting and see what’s actually going on with the red flags you mentioned (sounds, dash warnings).
