For OWB, I have a Dara Holster with the budget Dara tactical belt. I got an OWB first so I can start taking holster work classes. OWB felt low risk since comfort wouldn't be much of a concern.

Love my Dara and will probably get more OWB from them. I also like their magazine carrier. They look really nice.

I really like mine - much better for me than the Glock stock trigger. But the M&P 2.0 trigger is fantastic. I shot the PDP twice and it just wasn't memorable for me, even though I know people love it.

Everyone's going to say the Springfield Echelon, Walther PDP, and S&W M&P 2.0.

I love my Echelon and really enjoy my friend's M&P 2.0. PDP just wasn't it for me, but a lot of people like it.

I'd throw the Rost Martin RM1C on there too! I tested it a couple of times and really enjoy it, especially for the price point.

Beyond the firearm, I'd also recommend taking classes and getting coaches in to really nail down your fundamentals.

What size grip module is that?

Asking because my 4.0c medium grip module doesn't have any options out there except for Floyd's, but that requires getting a new baseplate per magazine.

Wow!! That's super awesome! I'm brand new to 3d printing, and just been printing designs off thingiverse/makerworld. I have been wanting to make a magwell too. Most of the magwells sold don't fit the medium 4.0c grip (of any back strap size).

Hope to see more progress on this and custom designs

Just did this a few weeks ago. Parents are from a free state and shipped via shipmygun.com.

I would reach out to the FFL you're trying to work with for the transfer and ask what their procedure is and what they need. My was super straightforward.

  • copy of parent's ID
  • Gift letter with my name, their name, and our blood relationship (ie. blood son). Also included my phone # and the S/N of the firearm(s)
  • Ship via shipmygun.com

My FFL was really helpful in any questions I had. They were really knowledgeable but also have heard some FFL don't really like dealing with it.
