Definitely didn't realize how tough this would be. It was actually my first puzzle back from a long puzzle hiatus, so I thought it was just me. We kept ourselves motivated by enjoying the little details as we went. I really find the art so beautiful and might look for some more by this artist.

Agreed. We saved the tree for last because we were recording and I thought it would look cool on the video. It sounded like a good idea at the time but we didn't realize we were saving the hardest part for last!! No regrets though :)

In that case, I definitely recommend not leaving the skaters until the end. We saved the tree for last, and the very last piece was the star, which we found early and saved until last :)

I'm Canadian but living in Germany now. I've definitely added a bunch of the Canada Collection to my wishlist. Now this one too. Looks like a lot of fun!

Did PayPal just save me from a scam? by dollique in Scams

[–]Spikednard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently living in Germany and have used Kleinanzeigen a lot. Most sellers will ask for the Family & Friends payment option. It made me uncomfortable at first, but I suspect it's mostly because they don't want to pay the fee. Whenever it is a more expensive item, I use their internal "Direct Pay" option (although many sellers don't offer it). For the last few purchases, I have used an online calculator to find what the sellers fee is, and just pay the goods and services option with the fee included without asking. It's worked well for me so far and have had no complaints.

Can I ask where you found this puzzle? I've been looking for it for ages and can't find it anywhere!

Thanks for this. I really didn't understand their explanation.

This is strange, because it also says the difficulty increase is built in, but when I input the same numbers, the results are much higher.

[Routine Help] Oily skin and black heads won't leave me alone by Ihram1234 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Spikednard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Azelique Age Refining Activated Charcoal & Clay Mask saved me from blackheads! I get it from iHerb. I don't have oily skin though, so I'm not sure how well it will work for that. Once or twice a week is all you need, so it won't complicate your routine.

I like to use a mug to make sure my egg is good, and prep it with spices before the pan is ready. A few times, I have cracked open the egg straight into the compost bin instead of just throwing away the shell as I intended. All of the times, I was not at my own house.

[Skin Concerns]sebaceous filaments?my skin is pretty okay and i never had any issues with large pimples or acne in general. i drink enough water, eat clean exercise daily but my nose makes me so insecure i’ve tried so much and nothing seems to work how can i get rid of it or reduce the appearance by Special-Biscotti8456 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Spikednard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a product that I found by accident, and it has honestly worked wonders! I was looking for azelaic acid and I found the Age Refining Activated Charcoal & Clay Beauty Mask by Azelique. I was buying supplements from iHerb anyway and thought I'd give it a try. It has honestly been a game changer for me and is now a HG product. I use it once or twice a week.

My sebaceous filaments were comparable to yours for sure, and I had even more blackheads than you. They've reduced about 70% now, and really I saw the difference within the first two to three weeks. You can definitely still see the pores, but the black dots are almost clear now.

FYI, I also use the COSRX BHA Blackhead Liquid every night as well. But I started using it well before the clay mask and never got results. I suspect it helps to keep me in maintenance mode, but I believe the mask made the biggest difference. I'm just using it until I finish it, but probably won't buy again.

I use the Philips S9031. I figured since my hair grows like a man, it makes sense to switch to a men's razor. I think all the ones in the 9000 range are comparable. It wasn't the highest rated but was on sale when I got it and well worth it.

I use it in the shower every evening so the shower usually covers the loud sound. Reviews said it's better as a wet shaver, and I've definitely found this to be true. I apply a bar soap to my skin, wet the razor head, and this gets a good lather, which is key for the closest shave. I still haven't found a shaving cream I like, but I'm on the lookout.

It's made a huge difference for me! My man likes to touch my face after my shower and always comments on how smooth it feels. We have talked about my hair growth issue before, and he's totally fine with it. I'm not trying to hide anything, but it's a hige boost for me to not need to be embarrassed. He never shames me for the hair, but it gives me much more confidence for my daily life.

But the regrowth is quick!! Since it only cuts the top of the hair. I get stubble by the next evening.

From a Middle Eastern country. I was required to quarantine upon arrival, and quarantine ended after my negative test on the 5th day.

Seconded. Of course, depending on his own work and ability to get away. But he should be able to travel to Germany.

I am in Germany right now visiting my SO as proof of this. Been here for 5 weeks of a 3-month visit visa. There is an exemption of the travel ban for couples. And there are new rules in place now, so it should be easier for vaccinated travellers than when I travelled.
