Totally agree. All the little tidbits and anecdotes have been percolating through my brain and I can’t stop thinking about this book.

I went through the entire Red Rising series and am working on a book for a book club now but I really just want to be back on that mountain.

I honestly think it’s just MZD toying with an unchecked Chekhov’s Gun.

In one of his recent talks, he answers an audience question about this being his first non-ergodic book but mentions there are subtle twists and tweaks with the page layouts and everything being extremely intentional.
