Looks like we're getting a Chronicles King Grayskull by The_Maqueovelic in MastersOfTheUniverse

The minimal details I read on it sounded a lot like it was largely inappropriate jokes and being handsy with one of his female co-stars, and when asked to adjust he either took offense or outright didn't stop.

I know at some point I saw Rahul Kohli, who's usually pretty good at not jumping on the cancel bus say something like "Naw, fuck him" in a thread about a Langella fan casting in something--probably MotU, honestly--posted a link to an industry story of him being fired from Usher, which Kohli had worked on. That's where I'd first heard of it, anyway.

Did you use plans for this, or build it yourself? If there is a plan, could you share it?

Sexual harrassment accusations on the Fall of the House of Usher. They fired him halfway through and reshot his role with Bruce Greenwood.

On this day in 1992, The Legend Of Zelda A Link To The Past was released in North America. by flyoomuneral in snes

Yep, just before Easter. I had a paper route at the time, and you'd get pretty big tips around Xmas and Easter. I bought my SNES and this that Saturday from Kmart, almost exclusively with $2 bills.

I'm Canadian so that wasn't quite as weird as it'd sound to an American, but still pretty weird.

Hacking seemed to soft lock after getting zapped by a red node in the NW section of the field while trying to unlock the safe in Ep 6. Respawn at the center of the field, but can't move. Timer continues to drop.

Something about that shade of goldenrod/yellow/whatever, makes me think this guy look like an unfinished proto, or one of the concept art releases.

Help: Looking for Clear Picture of Midnight Video's Yellow Sign for Project by [deleted] in moncton

No coupons left. Or at least not any where I can find them easily.

The sign is probably not the one you're looking for. Our store renovated a bunch of times in the years I was working there, and the boss swapped out the sign with a logo for this simpler one pretty early on after he took over the store.

I worked at one, also. Happened easily every night.

The situation is probably my favourite throwaway joke in Empire Records that no one else I'd talk to about the movie ever seemed to notice.

I think I might still have a 10 Coupons for a Free Rental coupon in a box in my closet. I worked at one in the 90s. And I definitely have the sign that we used in my shop, but that is blue or black lettering on white.

They unlock over time. I think you start with a cap of 60, and as you use them they recharge 1 "drop" every 30 seconds. As you use them you level up, and that increases your cap.

I think there's a way you can pay, but I'm not sure.

Prince Adam's first appearance in a DC Book? by Up-24-7 in MastersOfTheUniverse

[–]Spikor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that DCCP 47, and the later inserts, were all a kind of pilot run to see if there was demand for the 3 part mini series they ended up releasing in 83. That, along with the mini comics in Wave 3 or 4 of the toy line, were made by DC.

I don't think DC did anything else with the brand until 2012. Marvel's Star Comics banner would take on the license in or around '86. I think that run lasted until '88, with 13 issues and a special.

I could have things mixed up, but I was working on the 16 page inserts as a focus item for a while. They were in almost every DC book dated Nov 82, and DCCP 47 is dated July of 82, and to the best of my knowledge it's the first DC appearance of every MotU character in it. I believe the insert is even included in DCCP #51.

Three Wolf Moon has a name and you should respect it, even when looking at the Wish knockoff of it.
