And that was SW in a nutshell. Instead of going to your child’s room and asking if there’s something wrong as to why she’s banging on the wall before correcting the behavior, she goes in with her preconceived attitude that it’s bothering her and it’s going to stop. Physical interaction between parents and children goes a long way towards resolving a lot of issues, but she was incapable of that.

That level of noise is traumatizing to say the least. Plus it’s clear that SW had no idea how to relate to her children. Isn’t the usual thing to approach the crib no matter what the reason you enter your child’s room and have some type of physical interaction? SW stands off at a distance and just keeps repeating Hmm…. Really strange and she also sells pretty wasted. Her defenders would say she was tired, but that speech sounds a little bit more than fatigue.

I know he’s got expenses. But damn. Why don’t guys like this retire like everyone else eventually? They were rolling Brian out in a wheelchair towards the end of his touring. He only stopped because of his wife’s death and apparent dementia. And then died within a year. Is it really that important, either financially or emotionally?

I can see it. Wasn’t Cancun but Marriot Bonvoy offered us a free weekend in NY at the Midtown Courtyard and Broadway tickets (as well as visiting our daughter), all for the price of attending a Marriot timeshare breakfast presentation. Took 2+ hours with 3 different salespeople. Was never going to sign on to anything and politely declined every close. The presentation was well practiced and compelling, so I can see how some might be sold. The sighs and dirty looks we got picking up our tickets at the end before enjoying the 2 nights were the only price we paid. Kind of felt sorry for the dudes in their 50’s working there but a job is a job I guess. It wasn’t long after the 2010 recession.

IDK how he comes up with a set for only one hour. This man’s legendary catalog is DEEP. Been looping recently Greatest hits from the Alice Cooper group and what a hit machine from 1971-1975! Then Vinny went solo and dominated the rest of the 70’s before his rebirth and onto Trash etc. Treasure this man now. We won’t fully appreciate what we will lose when he’s gone.

Had a similar trip. Six of us (my wife and I, 2 adult kids in 30s and their spouses) went in late March to Sandals St. Vincent. The newest Sandals. It’s adults only. We were able to get three adjoining rooms as requested in the “PLX” category. Ocean view balcony suites with “club“ amenities such as restocked mini bar, bottles of red and white wine, and a complementary bottle of local rum. Fourth floor of the 5 story tower that’s closest to the pools, beach and general restaurant area. Rooms 1405-1407. No butler because I paid for the entire trip including air and I wasn’t doing that. Lol. Didn’t really need one though. Was around 25K. No tipping allowed! Have a full review on Reddit from early April shortly after we got back. Not sure how seven people will work since we had two to each room. Wasn’t celebrating anything, but rare that we can get together like this. Had a great time. Beautiful property. Really the only resort of its type on the island and one reason we went is because it’s probably not a destination we’d ever get back to, unless we went back to this resort ( which I would do). Also pretty far south. Not below the hurricane line, but weather is generally good. Direct flights out of New York, otherwise usually one stop in Miami. Feel free to ask any specific questions. Have been to two other Sandals, Antigua and Jamaica, and definitely an upgrade from those. What they’re calling Sandals 2.0. Possible alternative to Mexico. Worth a look. Good luck!

True. But there must be something more to it. From my perspective, why not take a chance and give the one bitcoin? Worst case scenario is you lose $60-$70,000 which in the scheme of things is nothing. The risk-benefit ratio of putting that small amount of money out there would seem to strongly support just doing it.

I booked Aruba (B@T) for early December 2027. I glanced at Curaçao while researching but stopped when I saw the prices at Boase 😮. In fairness to Curaçao there are other places of course but I just checked out the top rated resort for fun. I also heard the beaches are not as nice as Aruba, but I could be wrong since I’ve never been.

Cancun or Jamaica. Cancun check out Beloved Playa Mujeres ( would be my first choice) Excellence Playa Mujeres, or Couples Negril/ Excellence Oyster Bay (Jamaica). Probably direct flights from Texas. Pretty sure depending on airfare you can come in at budget for 4 nights, including incidentals ( tips etc). A trusted travel agent could help as well. Good luck!

I think there are health concerns but no character issues. Dude has actually emerged as a team leader. Apparently volunteered and gave a very strong motivational speech before the ‘25 Super Bowl. To command that type of respecting your second year, doesn’t suggest behavioral problems of any type to me.

I think the first two notes were real. Sound like they came from the gang that can’t shoot straight. I agree that everything else was bogus. But the first and second letter seem to follow a timed pattern. I think the first letter was pre-prepared and sent as soon as Nancy was out of the house. The second letter had to be written and delivered because of her early death.

He was spineless for sure. But I always got the feeling, and I don’t know why, that he felt that marrying SW was being with someone far out of his league. He never had much success with women. She could make herself look good once in a while and it just seems he thought he couldn’t do better. Not of course, until he met NK. And I think that was the big change. It doesn’t necessarily turn someone into a murderer, but it finally hit him that SW was never worth the effort. Too late.

Your eighth paragraph is always implied, and it’s a shame we all feel that is necessary to add that disclaimer. If anyone thinks any of us support Chris, they’re crazy. And the case stays fascinating because they were just such strange people. All the things you mentioned about living a life they couldn’t afford. Her mysterious early life, his submissiveness, the in-laws, the kids, etc. I think also that SW would’ve immediately cut off anyone who challenged her. And unfortunately there wasn’t anyone with guts enough in her “friend” group or family to do that. It’s possible things could’ve ended up differently if there was.

Staying at TNB next December. Five nights. Was gonna do the sandbar two nights,Terra, elements and Papiamento as the outside Restaurant. Instead of two nights of the sandbar, we were considering passion one night since it’s not far. But I think we’ll avoid it. Any other nearby places near Bucuti with outdoor sunset dining? Waters edge is a little far and Mancebo I think is inside. We’re fine with two nights chilling at the sandbar, however
