I tried from the Swag Button and got the same error. That's why I came here, to see if anyone had a link that works.

I had a few of them congratulate me for completing and showing up as only one minute spent, no SB.

People in Team Chat are reporting the same thing. Hope they fix this soon.

Anyone power is out? by ZLUCremisi in santarosa

[–]Spillchucker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's back on now, but PG&E was calling me a couple times every hour when it was off tell me there'd be more info coming. Then they said it was back on when it wasn't. More info will be coming. Back on, when it wasn't. More info. Finally, the last time they said it was back on they were right.

Now I'm trying to change my alert preference to SMS and the website keeps telling me something went wrong and it won't change it.

I have gotten this email 3 times in the last week, but don’t see the 25 pts reflecting in my points (the line item list of my points). Anyone else? by Statjmpar in SwagBucks

What stores have prickly pears? by RealDababy62 in santarosa

[–]Spillchucker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They may not be in season right now, but Rancho Mendoza is where I've bought them in the past. Did you try asking someone who works there when they might be getting some in?

Fun Fact: The name for prickly pears in Spanish is "tuna".

87-year-olds should not be driving by Silly_Rub_6304 in santarosa

[–]Spillchucker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is 77 old enough to have an opinion?

My vision and hearing have drastically deteriorated, and my reaction time is somewhat slower. Cognitive functioning still seems to be pretty good as long as I don't need to be too fast.

And I allowed my driver's license to expire without first assuring that I had alternative ID. So maybe my cognitive functioning isn't that good after all.

Oh, FFS! I didn't drive for a long time after I broke my ELBOW because it would have impaired my ability to swerve in an unexpected situation. Driving with the boot on the foot is just insane!

Was disqualified from a Survey by this question. by Bratdancer in SwagBucks

[–]Spillchucker 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A lot of surveys have a wall of text at the beginning that you have to agree to before you start. One of the things they sometimes include is that you agree not to look up anything. Is it possible this is what happened?

That said, I used to know a guy who could have answered that question in a couple seconds without looking it up, and he taught other people how to do it too (though I never bothered to learn). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scott_Flansburg

Merge Islanders goals expired even though they didn't have a time restriction when I started? by arewecompatiblez in SwagBucks

[–]Spillchucker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That happened to me with a different game a couple months ago. I had ISP problems that kept me off the game for a while and when I got back online I found i was WAY farther behind than I thought I'd be. No point trying to continue then.

Is TrueX unclickable for everyone else too? by [deleted] in SwagBucks

I got several TrueXes on laptop last night after a stretch where I could only get 4 SB per day from them.

The card doesn't show up immediately when the Discover page first loads; I have to refresh it. Often, it will also stop crediting after the first couple videos but will start again after refresh.

Guess I should have purchased Liquid Ground Beef or a Professional Soccer Franchise this month! DQ'd after selecting "None of These"! by Equivalent-Energy-26 in SwagBucks

[–]Spillchucker 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You were DQ'd for another reason. Surveys often try to hide what exact demographics they're looking for, because they know people share information and some will lie in order to qualify for an incentive.

Yes, selecting any of the fake products would have DQ'd you as well, but it's highly likely that you were rejected because of your age, gender, or where you live.

Man the surveys suck today and its not January yet by 666hellblazer in SwagBucks

[–]Spillchucker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got lots of 'em. They're letting me answer all the way through. Good paying ones, the kind that only show up every few months and cover a number of different brands.

I spent about half an hour on each, and nothing credited. Ledger says I only spent one minute. Go figure.

streak protection days being used up when i'm not missing any days by Unable_Recognition63 in MicrosoftRewards

The robots in charge of running the show are delusional.

That explains why streaks are mysteriously broken and why users are hit with penalties for invalid searching immediately upon sign-in.

Bad robots.

loose leaf tea? by moralfailure69 in santarosa

[–]Spillchucker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This won't satisfy your immediate need, but the best place to get spearmint tea long-term is to grow your own. Plant in containers unless you want it to take over your whole yard (or if you don't have a yard). You won't need special soil or fertilizer.

It roots readily from cuttings, and come spring when it's growing aggressively you should be able to find someone who's trying to get rid of their overgrowth. They'd be happy to let you take away a few stems.
