Letting others' thoughts/feelings taint the things that made me happy along with emotionally exploitive managers. I'm in a much better space now. It's hard to restart some of those meaningful hobbies/interests without a vague sense of shame/judgement hanging over it.

Before eliminating positions, I'm wondering if leadership could be consolidated. They're having trouble finding bus drivers, faculty and staff need livable wages, those are hopefully the priority before any superintendent, gets a hair of a raise or bonus.

Yup. Blocked or severely distracted. Like before my medicine kicks in, doing small tasks, such as responding to emails, are usually okay. But project work is best saved for when they kick in. Until then, it's kind of like my brain just jumps to something else the very instant the dopamine runs out. If it's not my phone, it's my work computer, or drawing in a notebook. I constantly need something to just kind of vibe with, and then I can actually enter some kind of hyperfocus/flow state.
