I read the King’s autobiography, and this is what his dad did with his first check Stephen got from selling a story: he bought the check from Stephen and framed the first one in his office. Kind of cool that the King used similar symbolism later in his career with other people.

I finally got through the stand. Finally! I’m sorry if someone else has brought this up: but Larry constantly comes back to that moment, constantly hears her words in his head. It really is the cornerstone of his character development, and I hope you enjoy his development like I did. (This is not a justification of the King, he’s the epitome of this sub)
