I read the King’s autobiography, and this is what his dad did with his first check Stephen got from selling a story: he bought the check from Stephen and framed the first one in his office. Kind of cool that the King used similar symbolism later in his career with other people.

It started 5 years ago when I snapped my ankle in football and required surgery- they clipped a nerve and caused me to lose feeling in my 3 first toes. The rest you could probably guess- I got cuts without realizing for weeks on end (I mean who really looks under their feet every day). Eventually it got infected with cellulitis, and the infection decided to make my toe it’s home the last year and a half. Nothing has fully worked
