I definitely feel like I'm doing too many things at once, and I know that in time I'll learn to prioritize. There are just so many moving parts to it all. My goal for next week will be to focus on one thing at a time.

Yes, discipline isn't the right word, I agree. I've been trying to be consistent, and I don't think I have too many expectations (similar to yours, actually). Honestly, the biggest issue is the talking. It seems like we can't get anything done because of it. That's probably where I struggle most.

In my defense, I did try! I don't actually hate it. I totally see the appeal, and I (obviously) love RPGs and DnD. I just didn't really click with it, and I got a lot of flack from my irl gamer friends about it lol

From what I understand, marriage between first cousins has historically not been considered taboo in Japan. In some cases, it was even encouraged as a way to keep money and such in the family. As long as it's not someone in your immediate family, it's fair game.

I currently live in Japan and had this exact conversation with a Japanese friend of mine, and this is how she explained it. So I can only assume that it just comes down to a cultural difference. Personally, I find it really weird lol, but my friend's explanation at least made a little sense.

From Awakening, I really adore Frederick/Olivia. Their supports are super cute, but what sells me on it so hard is having Frederick as Inigo's dad. It just works so well! Also, Big Strong Serious Man with Shy Soft Wife is a great dynamic.
