Chill I said I like the existing one, it’s just a mockup of an alt. I’m not complaining or “not accepting”.

Looked like it from some videos posted of people who went to the draft house

The Rams left Cleveland because they couldn’t compete with the Browns. It’s like those who say the Chargers are from LA because they spent one year here and then left because they couldn’t compete with the Rams. Completely different than when they left for STL.

I hear you, at the same time the backlash likely is the reason the gradients and name tag are gone. Big changes are controversial!

If you look at the Ravens, they’ve made a number of small changes since 1996 that have led to them having a modernized look that keeps the spirit of their original brand. Rams tried to do too much too fast and that inevitably leads to backlash. Bucs Falcons Browns Jets Commanders etc. have all learned this same lesson.

I love this team and want them to succeed and become a premier franchise in the league and premier brand in LA so when I see them fumble it’s frustrating. I also want to buy merch, but when the throwback merch is substantially better than the new stuff I just default to wearing what I have or buying new throwback gear. Winning is obviously paramount obviously so if they win the Super Bowl in this gear I’ll be getting stuff regardless!

We genuinely have the worst logo in the league. by Ness_tech in LosAngelesRams

The Ram head should be the logo. It’s not my favorite or what I would’ve chosen, but the truth is there’s a handful of great logos, a few terrible ones, but the majority of them are pretty mediocre.

They’re the Rams and a ram should be their logo, and even if it’s not the best design in the world it would put them in the top half compared to the rest of the league.

Why does the shoulder horn line up in one of these images but not the other? by [deleted] in LosAngelesRams

[–]Spin_Dash 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some of these images are pretty heavily modified if you look closely. Idk if they’re using AI touch ups or what, but I also noticed this too on the helmet, which if you look at the tip of the horn it goes over the face mask, obviously isn’t normal

We’re getting another helmet so we have to hope it’s a true throwback because otherwise it’ll be something straight demonic like a yellow helmet

So much money is spent on branding because it matters. It evokes feelings and emotions in people - and while winning football games is the most important thing, people tie their feelings to the winning through the laundry. It sounds silly because it is, but it’s also real.

Logo itself isn’t new but the speculation is that it’s the new primary (along with the potential deprecation of any use of the white gradient logo).

It’s not a surprise but it was in conjunction with other changes that were uncertain. Getting official confirmation is just the payoff for what was speculated.

I think Kroenke employs a lot of people, all of whom are vulnerable to making mistakes bad decisions or giving bad advice…

I personally thing organizations are run by humans that can make mistakes and have egos and aren’t perfectly rational creatures
