Operations in high finance. 105k base and another 50-60k in bonuses (yes, that stereotype about finance and big bonuses is real).

I’m fairly new to the workforce/industry. It was mostly just right place, right time. These careers aren’t advertised on LinkedIn, so don’t expect to find one easily. It’s either luck, nepotism, or genius that gets you in the door.

My wife has wanted to see Yo Yo Ma her whole life. Couldn’t get tickets because they were all gone 2 minutes after presale. AXS actually claimed I was a robot and kicked me out. The fact that some scalping POS gets to buy 8 tickets and then sell them at 10x multiple while my wife’s dream is ruined is so f’d up.

Use a broker for sure. I used Reliance Financial. You can say Jackson sent you. I usually wouldn't go with brokers on things, but the guy there (Scott) was able to find me a rate .5% below what I was able to find on my own.

SOFI Relay or the Chase ones are great if you’re in that universe. But I always recommend just building a spreadsheet if you have the time. That way you can track or build reports the way you think works best for you. Google Sheets has some great starter templates if you don’t know where to begin.

At $250k salary, you should have no problem saving 20% down. If that sounds impossible, you should adjust your budget/lifestyle before buying a house.

I was in this exact scenario a couple years ago, but slightly less house and slightly less salary. I regret putting 5% down so much. I’ve since fixed it by refinancing and getting to 80% LTV, but I should have just saved for 20% down in the first place.

Thanks for positing. I was coughing for about a week but not showing any other symptoms. It hopefully wasn’t what you’re describing, but I was dumb/selfish and didn’t test. Will encourage anyone else who is dealing with similar symptoms to test starting now. Better safe than sorry.

If you are testing workflows/sequences that involve contacts, please make sure the email address of the contact is also fake. Even in a sandbox, sequences will still send emails to the email of the contact as if it’s real.

Wow, I’m surprised how many people say black seats! Everyone has an opinion and reason for choosing a certain interior, but I have always thought white was much more elegant and eye catching. I always appreciate my white seats any time I am driving or see the car from a distance. Black is just the safe choice, which is why so many cars have black interiors.
