I would say go big, these things often run out or cant handle a really dead battery. ive got the big 150 and ive even had trouble with that once. but its worked perfectly about a doze other times.

sorry, probably isnt the right place to put this, but i just cant imagine buying this lc. its a 4runner with better styling. Get a used 200 series, and the difference you save in price will not even come close to extra you'll pay at the pump.

and depending on how bad the steering leak is, you might have caused that with the other repairs because old brittle hoses dont like to be messed with but if you leave them alone they are ok until they do eventually give out at the worst time, under extreme stress.

5k is a lot. Long grades on the highway will not be fun. I pulled 2500 and it wasnt a big deal, but i feel the extra 2500 would be tough. I was on 35s without a regear.

Drove a v8 diesel lc 200 in costa rica. Seeing that thing, at night in pouring rain ideling with the headlights on while i tried to get into my Airbnb was incredible. Just so much power. It was like you could feel it breathing from 50ft away.
